Jour 32

LAST TUESDAY! haha...I think i will say it all week long!! ;) HAPPY ST-JEAN EVERYONE!!!! I would be with you, all my quebecers friends to celebrate it! I miss you!

Oh oh! The temperature was too great today. We couldn't miss it! And the St-Jean was another reason to let us doing what we want. No ?!?! We went to our morning class and then, at noon, Allen, the conversation class teacher, bring us to jazz festival for the lunch. It was relaxing...and i found the jazzy girl's voice awesome! After, some students and me didn't go in afternoon classes. We, again, returned to The Forks. We bought slush and then, everything was perfect for a perfect day of "foxage!". hahaha...um um.

I returned home at 4:30. On Tuesday, if you remimber, we have to eat with our host family. So everybody was there...perfect....i gave them my gifts!!! They were soooo happy!! It was awesome! We took 2 hours around the table. I love to make fun with kids! After, I came in my bedroom to start filling my luggage....oh yeah...I know....already :S I don't know what i'll do...i have so many stuff!! MG! I'll see how to figure it out on last day maybe!!! hehe!

Jour 31

Monday, June 23

Yesterday was my last Monday here, in Winnipeg! Wow...time goes so fast!

We had a relaxing morning class with our super duper teacher Kenton :) It was relaxing because we won't have exams anymore this week. We still learning but with less pressure...yay! I like that. We played Scategories a little, and it's always funny because, people are very competitive. Everyone gives his/her answer and then, everybody argue....especially a woman named Maha. I don't know why i didn't tell you about her before!! Since the beginning of the program, she ALWAYS disagrees with our opinion and ALWAYS fights to convince everyone that her statements or answers are the best! She's the black sheep of Level 3...no-one really like her...yeah i know it's sad but you have to be there to understand....heh. But it's a small negative point that doesn't affect as much my morning class. Fiou!

In the afternoon, we had our theatre (or theater...the American way to write it) class. It was our last one before rehearsal which is tomorrow (Wednesday). We did it very well; I'm looking forward to present it!! I have a good stress for the moment. For meal, we ate good cannelloni at Boccaccino's. And after...you know what?!?! We went to a gelati bar (gelati is a kind of ice-cream without milk). Oh my god! I was missing so much eating ice-cream and mine was soooo good! A nice mix of moka and tiramisu gelati! Miiiam!

After, we were free. So, some friends and me went to Sugar Mountain, a candy store. I bought candies for my host kids. Then, we went to Polo Park because I wanted to find a gift for my host parents. I found a very cool gift. Because they always eat Pop-corn (EACH NIGHT!!), I bought them 4 cute little pop-corn bowls. When I came back home, i hid my gifts because i planned to give them on the next day.

I have talked again a lot with Jodi and then i have received a sms from Yacine. He wanted me to join him and other guys in Patrick's house for St-Jean party. I wasn't in the mood for it, so i said no. Later in the night, there were lightenings in the sky and then, we lost electricity. Stick in dark, I changed my decision and decided to go at the party. I said to myself:"Hey! Wake up! It's St-Jean!! You HAVE to go!". So, I went there and everybody was surprised by my coming. They said that it was awesome that I decided to come! They were expected the opposite! We had a great night but short. It ended at 1 a.m....;)

Jour 30

Sunday (with a red cherry), June 22

First, I want to say GOOD LUCK to Nicolas who gonna pass his driving licence tomorrow!! I hope you'll have it!!

Today, i did one of the most cool thing in my whole trip here. With Joanie and Mylene, I went to the Assiniboine ZOO!!!!!! Yeah! I love animals! We arrived at 11 and we passed the whole day there. We saw almost 350 different kinds of animals...okay, I don't know exactly if I saw all of them but I know the zoo include that much. I learned more about Winnie the Pooh who takes his origin in Winnipeg. I read on his statue's inscription that, back in the day, there's a soldier (World War I) who try to hunt a little bear. But he just catches it. The bear became the mascot of his Troup. The soldier named the bear Winnie in honor of his own town, Winnipeg. Later, he gave the bear to a zoo. Then, an author A.A. Milne and his son, Christopher, went to the zoo. The bear inspired Milne to write a story which was called Winnie-the-Pooh. Since, a lot of children all around the Canada (and maybe more) enjoyed the story of a yellow little bear!

We had a great time there and we just made fun with a lot of things. We took videos...i'm looking forward to show you...haha!!! After, we returned each in our own house. I passed all the evening talking with my family....and Marjorie, you know what? They LOOOVVEEE our songs!! We will be famous when we'll have our complete cd! hhaha! It's good to dream!

So, to everybody who still reading me...i say thank you to be so patient!! haha! no, i just want to say thank you and i very very very miss you all!!! We'll see us in one week!!

Bye bye! Xxx

Jour 29

Saturday, June 21

I slept in Mylene's host house. We woke up late in the morning. We decide (with Joanie...not Cath because she left for Qc) to go at The Forks to take adventage of the sun. When we got there, we firts stopped to Pancakes house to eat ...mmm i think....pancakes?!? haha....Those were very good. When we finished, it started to rain outside. :( So we stayed in the shopping center to do some window-shopping. Later in the afternoon, we returned on Portage Street (main place in whole winnipeg) to finally decide that a movie could be great for the rest of the day. After a big night, we felt lazier....So we went to Joanie's house (the duplex) and ordered some KFC...eurk...too much fast food in the last days :(

Jour 28

Friday, June 20

No school on friday! Instead, we went (with teachers) to Gimli beach. It's about 1 hour and a half from Winnipeg, in Gimli town. We went there with a voyager bus. We reached the beach at 10:30. We stayed on it still the rain started to fall...yeah :( it's sad....so, we ate in Beach Boy restaurant...it was the first time we were allowed to choose our own food. I have taken a very good gyros. We talked there for about 1 hour and a half to wait for the rain's stop. After, it wasn't great enough outside to return beach so, we just shopped for the rest of the time before coming back home.

Mylene and me stayed together after that to get prepared together (again) before going out. On the road, we stopped in a liquor mart to shop some wine. We also went in a seven eleven (a kind of drug store) to try the Slurpee drink which is VERRRYY popular here. You can't pass the day without seeing someone with one. The other day, I saw the largest size of bootle i've ever seen before...it was average 2 or 3 liter...amazing!! How can a person drink that much?!? Anyway...

We went to Patrick's (another student) host house. The parents were agreeing for that. We passed a part of the evening there and after we went to Blush bar. We had VIP pass so we entered there for free. It was a great night...espacially because it was the last one of our good friend Catherine. She had to leave on the next day because she's starting to work on monday.

Jour 27

Thursday, June 19

OHH my god. Sorry. I missed a lot of posts. But I was just too busy by these days! Maybe it's the same for you, all readers...haha...i don't know if people still read this blog...'cause maybe it's becoming a little boring...i don't know, i don't put the same energy as the begining, sorry about that...it's hard you know!!! But i'll keep writing on it 'cause i did it first for myself (yeah..i'm self-centered...haha). No, but it's like a little diary of my trip here, just to remimber it well in like 5 or 10 years. If other can enjoy it too...why not?!?! heh ! ;)

We went to Blue Bombers football game! And you know what? They were playing against Montreal's Alouette!! It was amaaaaaaaaaaaaazing! Okay, I don't know a lot about football but my friend Charles teached me the minimum that I had to know. But why it was that much fun? Because of our fight with Blue Bombers fans! OMG! You had to been there! 'Cause we (quebecers) were the only Alouette fans....we were shouting "Winnipeg Sucks" all the time. And the Winnipegers were answering "Montreal Sucks" all the time too....It was very crazy. I think they have enjoyed more their preseason game because of that. I don't know but you feel like more adrenaline and you are like a part of the game too! Me and many other students had makeup on our face, posters and firecrackers gun. Goshh...i'm looking foward to show you some pictures!

A big surprise was wainting for me when i came back home. An awesome birthday letter from my very very good friend Melissa. OMG! I love you so much...you made me cry! I actually don't know why i merit these kinds of beautiful words...Thank you so much Mel!! I miss you too a lot!! Be sure that i'll go see you in Sherbrook this summer!

mercredi 18 juin 2008

Jour 26

I love the sun!! And it is very very nice with us by these times!! For about 3 days now, it get up each morning and still stay awake. It gives us the opportunity to bathe in hot beams. It gives us a great red lobster color too! yay! Always funny when it's not on you! My friend Mylene is tanned in "farmer" (as she said)...she put suncream yesterday...but not everywhere...hah! She looks like a cow with red spots instead black. Today she was dressed like a none..."No sun for me today!!!!!!" hahah....poor little girl!

We went to school like each day of the week....but with this sun...it was very hard to find it interesting :( But, as good students we were...we haven't done as we had done on yesterday. We stay at school....yeah, i heard you say we aren't enough adventurers...

Why? One of the good reasons was because our theatre class. We have only 1 week left before performing!!!! So we have to take all the time we have to practice. :S The conversation class was as relaxing it can be....we watched Family Guy on TV....Big deal! haha!

We ate indian food tonight at Charisma's restaurant. Too spicy for me! Wow...I don't like pepper because it's spicy....can you imagine indian food! But as polite i am, i have all ate my dinner ;) You can be proud of your young girl mommy ;)

Jour 25

It's a beautiful daaayyyyyyyyy! (With U2 background music...)

Wow, i was just a bad girl today. I went to my morning class but......not for those in the afternoon. :O Sorry...but today was just too sunny to stay between 4 walls and listen to boring lessons...!!! Oh i'm kind of rebel! Okay, something you have to know. We CAN miss about 3 complete days of school before being fired of the program...so why don't take advantage of it?? Okay, it's a little bit radical I know. But ONE time...just ONE time! Do I have remorses?? One would say that I try to convince myself that not...;)

BUT! I was not alone!! We were a big gang. We missed our afternoon's classes to go at The Forks. It's a great place in Winnipeg. You just have the river in front of you and many restaurants behind you! Lazy and happy life heh? Wow, i actually have many sunburns on me...but who cares? I had a great time talking with friend and relaxing...haha! Try it sometimes....i promise you a big liberty feeling....;)

Jour 24

Ayayaye!

I think i'm becoming just too lazy to write this blog by these times! haha! Give me a little slap on my hand ;) no no...I was just too busy yesterday...as always...haha just kidding!

Well well folks, yesterday was a Monday day! BUT! It was a great one for me...and almost all the students too. We began with normal school on the morning with a tricky warm up game. We had to improv again but this time, it was just a conversation between two persons...but each can't talk without always asking a question to the other! That was really tuff...and you know, even the teacher had some difficulty with!

After lunch, we had our conversation class in which we did our debate. I made laugh a lot of people with my statements...remimber, i was FOR the "miracle" products sold on TV. I did like a TV commercial and it was just funny...heh...how to find arguments in other way? After that, we went to theatre class and it was GREAT! We practiced a lot with different ways of interpretation. Everybody got caught up and so, we just had a lot of fun. Our play is almost done and we will show it on next wednesday...OH!

We went to a vegetarian chineese (AGAIN) food restaurant. We just ate too much again...wow, it was one of the best places. Where did we go after?? At RED RIVER EX!!! (ROLLER COASTER!) greeeeeaaaat! We had like 5 free rides each and we were happy of that. We just had enough to be satisfied. I have fought my fear by going in the fire ball which is the one where i was sick in few years ago....hehe..yes...i'm shy about that...and it was one of the most humiliated moment in my hole life. But yesterday, I did it well!! yahoo! We also had a monster truck tour for just 5$ each. This ride was not that much special but we all loved it because one thing: Catherine, the one that we all call "moon girl", received a big big piece of mud right on her legs!! haha!! We just all started to laugh because she was shouting! She were the only one who got dirty..it's a luck because she was the only one wearing shorts! We had a really really good evening.

Came back home, I just put all Mylene's, Catherine's, Joanie's and Charles's picture on my computer. It took me a long time because my computer was just grrrrr.....it was crashing all the time! So, that's the reason why i had no time to write down my blog....;)

dimanche 15 juin 2008

Jour 23

Sunday blondy Sonday!!

Happy father's day to my awesome and incredible dad!! I love you so! I hope you're still happy without your hairs!! haha! xxx

Okay, today, we woke up at 9h30 in the University of Manitoba....far away of our home (yeah...like 45-60 min...). Mathieu (who slept there too, with is U of M's student girlfriend), Catherine and me waited 30 min for the bus....grrr...i was so tired!

I reached my home and returned to bed for almost all the afternoon! So after, it was already the time to eat! Mike's parents came for the dinner. It's was great to meet them! We talked for about 1h30 and then, i returned in my room to do some homeworks...yeah, i know, it's borring...but i had to finish planning my debate for tomorrow's conversation class. Mylene and me have to "fight" about a subject. We have chose to talk about product that are sell on TV...like the fabulous Ab King Pro. One has to be for and the other, against. We are both not a lot for this thing, but someone had to find positive arguments...i'm the one. I'm a kind of hipocrite one!! oh! :)

Writing those posts always take me a long time! So, i'm using the rest of my evening to do it! Enjoy your last hours of week-end everyone! xx

Jour 22

Saturday morning...9 o'oclock...i look for the weather on meteo media's web site...another rainy day :( So, I returned to bed...no good reason to wake up early and take advantage of the day....haha yeah...i'm sometime a little bit lazy hihi

I woke up at 10h30 instead and I called my friend at noon. We decided to go see an IMAX movie on the Grand Canyon. It was a documentary about the decreasing level of the water there. It was interesting but too much informations....too much for a person like me who have to be very concentrate when the speaking debit goes fast! It was the same thing for my friends...they said that sometimes in the movie, they just shut off their ears and only watched the images. hehe...lazy again ;)

After that, we went for a little time on Osbourne Street to do some window-shopping again. (No worry, we did'nt buy anything!) I was supposed to join my oncle at 5. So, i leave my friends and took the bus. People in winnipeg are very nice. I asked one bus driver which bus i should take to go on Marion Street (where i was supposed to meet my oncle). He said that I should take the 19. But, instead let me exit out of bus, he drove me to the good bus station! I was amazed by his kindness!

Then, I took the 19 and I arrived on Marion Street where the Northon Hotel was. I joined my oncle and we took a long walk to a B&B where he was supposed to sleep. After maybe one hour of walk, we finally reached the bed and breakfest. I had a great time talking with him!! I was so happy to talk with someone i know !

On the evening, Charles, Catherine, Mylene and me went to The Toad Pub to drink some imported beer and eat good natchos! On maybe 11 o'oclock, we went to the residence of the University of Manitoba to meet some other quebecers students. It was great! Catherine and me stayed for a too long time so we missed the last bus. So, we slept there! haha...on a coach...ouch!! ;)

vendredi 13 juin 2008

Jour 21

SOOO TiReD this morning!! Ouff! But I quiclky became smiling after having read a post from my oncle J-F! He will be here, in Winnipeg, tomorrow! I will probably go visit him in his break (between 5 and 6:30 p.m.)! He already gave me such good encouragements and advices! Thanks a lot for the the time you gave me Jean-François!

So, I did the exam....and I think I did it well! yeah! They are always very easy....so, no big merits..;)

Grrr! We are SO UNLUCKY!!! :( Today, we were supposed to go at Red River Ex, which is a roller coaster park....but...again, rain was mean with us....Can I cry again to help floor become more wet? Instead, we went play pool at Flea Whiskey's place. Okay, that was nice! I was good....what a suprise for me! After one hour, my friends and I had enought. So, we went to SilverCity watch a movie. What else can we do on rainny days? We saw The incredible Hulk...this movie is not worth being criticized....:( After, we ate dinner (supper) at food area in Polo Park. We stayed there for about 1:30 talking. We decided to go in a small place called "The tea shop" to try the "Bubble tea".

I have something funny to tell about this drink. On wednesday afternoon, in our conversation class, we met some japaneese, chineese and other countries students. We talked about music, sports, movie, etc. We were placed in group : 3 Quebecers and 3 others conutries students. One time, we had a discussion about the best places we have to go in Winnipeg. Then, a japaneese student talked about the bubble tea. He was suprised that no one of us (Quebecers students) was knowing the product. He explains that it was a kind of smoothies with some gummies in it (the bubbles). But the story doesn't end here! On the Potluck activity, we saw this student again. He haved a crush on Mylene!!!! hahah! All the night before, he have studied some french for her like "Bonjour! Je m'appelle .... Je viens du Japon. Tu es belle! Veux-tu m'accompagner pour aller prendre un bubble tea un de ces soirs?" It was very funny and Mylene was very shy! But she accepted. We don't know when they will meet together but that was a funny situation. ;) oh...heh, bubble tea is good but not that much different of our quebecers smoothies !

Love you friends!

P.S. Thanks Eve L for your e-mail! It always makes me happy!! xxx

P.S.2. Mom, try to call me again! I have, at least, three important things to talk with you! Key Words : Canada's trip, Wedding, Abitibi !

Jour 20

What is my explanation for no publication on yesterday night?? Go see at the bottom of this post!

Yesterday (Thursday), we had the afternoon free. Why? Because we had to be prepared for the evening Potluck. It was sad! Because of the weather (it's rainning all the time here!!! grrrr!), this activity was at the university instead of the Assiniboine Park, where it was supposed to be. So, for this Potluck, each team of 2, 3 or 4 students have cooked something (a meal or a dessert) and brought it to a big U of Dubs's (U of W's or University of Winnipeg's) room. It was like a huge buffet! Again...we ate too much...burp! It was also the birthday of Mathieu, one of my friend. As little devil we were, we had the idea to put chocolate cake on his face! ooooo....we all laught! ;)

Now, can you guess what happened in the night?! We went out in a bar for his b-day! But before, Mylene and me have got prepared together. So we all passed the evenight together and it was very nice to learn more about ourselves....And you know what, we have talked english all the time! Great heh? The bar was called "The Blush". It's a very chic place with a big dance floor. The drinks were not that much expensive and the music was good too! We had fun until 1:00 a.m. because last city bus passed at 1:15.....oh and also, because we wanted to be well for our exam the next day morning....hehe...

Jour 19

Internet was not working on last wednesday night!
It's probably good for me because i went to bed earlier...haha...We lose so much time on the net! It's incredible!

So on wednesday, we had our theater class. I have to mention it because I want to let you know that it's going well and everyone almost knows his text. We have began to interpret our role and put some life in our play. It's very cool!

The evening was very simple, after school, we went to a thaï food restaurant. Our meal was very very good...very sophisticated! Miii am! After, we went to Polo Park Shopping Center (Yeah...I know, again....but we had a good reason!) Charles wanted to buy a gift for his girlfriend. He shopped the first part of it in the "Lush" store. It's a place where we can find almost every soap we need and each one has it own particularity. Charle's one was for a great massage. He have to make it slide one the skin and then, the soap become warm. This soap have also a side with many little balls that can give great sensations. The second part of the gift was a massage oil bought at "The Body Shop". Lucky girlfriend!!

We made a little bit of window-shopping. And then, at "Garage" we found THE t-shirt we all wanted! Since the beginning of our trip, we were searching a T-Shirt with the inscription "I Love (something)" on it. So, we found one with " I love shoes, bags & boys"! Sooo funny! And you know what....haha...mmm, as much girly we are....we all decided to wear it in the same time the day after.....4 girls, 4 "I love" T-shirts...oh wow! It's always awesome to be young again ;)

After that, I came back home and talked with Jodi and Mike. It's always very fun to talk with them. I will never say it enought, but they are very nice with me.

That's all folks !

Jour 18

Sunny delight day!

Short post today...i'm just not very in the mood today and more, i didn't have a big day so...

1. School!

2. Diner with my host family. We didn't have an activity today because tuesday is always a free night for us. Hey! I realized that it's a good thing that i not have to eat a lot at my home because my mom feed me too much!!!! And someone who knows me, knows also that i have difficulty to refuse something. OMG...i have ate too much! :S

3. I talked a lot with my mother again. Mike is away for 3 days so we are alone with the kids. I begin to feel more confortable with them now. After the diner, I helped Joseph and Mikayla with their french reading (yeah, that was awesome to have the possibility to teach some french), Sarah with her english reading and I played a little bit with Sammy and his trains!! haha! That was a great way to pass the evening!

4. When the kids went to their bed, i returned in my bedroom to draw a little bit. For now, i have to do the picture for the dentistry initiation T-shirt before June 16. I have done one....i will send it to my friend and wait for their aproval!

5. That's it! Oh my god...my blog is starting to be a little bit boring....:S sorry....:(

Jour 17

Hi!

Today was a rainy day :( Can I cry?....

It's with my eyes still stick together than I went to school this morning. Have a coffee was more than just a needs! As I told you we had a test today....yeah!! What a great thing to wake you up! Okay, maybe i'm just too sarcastic! We did also some more improvisations....it's always great and very fun...people can be very imaginative when they want to!

I had a great lunch time by remember with the others all the crazy things we have done on saturday night...everybody agrees...it was awesome! A great night! I'll not tell you about my afternoon, it was almost the same. ;)

Today's activity was bowling. But before doing it, we had to go diner at ANOTHER CHINEESE BUFFET!! ............okay, this one was great...almost 9/10. But before got there, level 3 and 4 (that's included me) had to wait about 30 min at the university because the restaurant weren't enough big for all the 65 students. But when we arrived, the other group (level 2 + 3) has just began to eat! So, instead waiting and doing nothing again, we started to play bowling until the time the other students have finished their diner. You know what??? I suck a lot by playing with small bowl :( I was just not very proud of me because I know i'm good with the big :(...But I was fun, that's the only thing important for me!

When I came back home, a such great gift was waiting for me in my bedroom!!! My pretty friend Marjorie have sent me a big package with 4 cd's and like 200 songs!! She's so nice....i could'nt believed it! She took a long time to do it for me!! So I took my phone to thanks her and so, we had our first conversation in english!! It was nice! She and I were looking foward to speak in this language for a long time by now! THANKS A LOT MAJORIE!! :) xxxx

P.S. Mom :( I'm just too sad, I think my kodak is really a little broken.....:( I hope we will be able to make it repared!!!!

Jour 15

June 7, B-day's Eve of Eve

I woke up at average 10. I was still alone in the house so I started my day very slowly : took a look of my emails, took a shower, had a breakfast...normal stuff you know ;) After all that, I began drawing some tattoos for my friends. They want to make it here, in winnipeg, on tuesday evening. So the first one took me about one hour and a half, and the others about 15 min each. I've all done them outside, enjoying the great weather and sun.

After, I had prepared myself a little bit before I joined my friends at Polo Park. We went to the hotel room together. The place was totally AMAZING! wow...first class! Little detail : one bed, 6 persons...haha! Who care? ;)

From this moment, we missed luck. First, we were thinking that a Liquor Store was near from the hotel. We were wrong, there was just a beer store...and me, I needed my wine and the others, their spirits. So we asked the man in the store our direction for a close liquor store. We misunderstood what he had said and then, we took a big big big bend (by walking) to finally reach our destination after 30-45 min. We all said :"On va tu la mériter notre soirée!!" yes...I know, we have talked french. At the hotel, we called 3 XL pizza for us...what a great meal...yum!

You can imagine by yourself the rest of the evening...I can add that it was a great night for my birthday. We entered V.I.P at the Tijuana Yach Club because of my b-day. We all had a lot of fun there!! Woo...it was awesome! The bar closed at 2:00, so after, we returned in our
bedroom. We were very squeezed, 6 in a bed...ouch! But, before sleeping, we made some massages...it was great! I actually LOVE massages...!!! So, now....i'm 21 guys!

vendredi 6 juin 2008

Jour 14

Happy B-Day to Cynthia!!!!!!!!!! I hope you have a lot of fun tonight...and that you won't be sick! Haha! Fiesta is sometimes dangerous...I don't know why i'm saying that....hum hum! ;) I love you babe! xx

Today? What about today...hum!?
Okay, so we had class in the morning and it stopped at 10h30 because we had a little conference until the noon. Someone (a women) came in our school to talk about the activity she enjoys, (...) running. (...) (Little bracket here : I am so tired on this moment that i fall asleep each 2 min... (...) and i have also fell asleep on this sentence....kind of weird eh?) The woman have been done a couple of marathon for a lot of years. (...) (Now it's a plane who have passed over the house that wake me up! haha! I'm fighting hard with sleep! ) It was very cool because she have explained a lot of things we should think before (...) begin to run or doing a marathon.

For the lunch, we ate at a Chineese buffet. It was really really really disgusting. Not comparable with what we know from montreal and even from Val d'Or. (...) The water tasted and smelled like suffer and the food as well. So, we all ate a little little bit and took all the rest of the time to do crazy things at the restaurant....ahhh sometimes, we just loved to be young again.. ;)

After, we went to Manitoba Museum for all the afternoon. That one was very great and we saw a lot of things. The place is very big and it was looking a little bit like Walt Disney. I explain : it haved a lot of landscapes which were reflecting the reality and we have walked through them. (...) I have took a lot of picture....you'll see!! (...)

Charles, Catherine, Mylene and Joanie all came at my house today for the diner. We have brought (...) spaguetti and brownies to eat. My critics are almost more for you Marjorie ;) By the way, i heard again good comments about "Shawshank Redemption" today...maybe i should watch it heh?? We had a very great evening...it was very relaxing....maybe too much...(...)

Jour 13

I should just write you about the end of my day because before, it's almost the same thing, again and again...I think today's post will be very short...sorry ! I cannot have busy day all the time...hey give me a break! haha!

The planified restaurant for tonight dinner was the Sorrento's. But....haha....as you know guys, Sorrento's is now on our shit list (okay, it's an ugly expression but i learned it at school, in my class....so i've totally the right to use it). So, we went to the Portage Place, which is a shopping center, to eat in the restaurant of our choice with 10$ in our hands. After, we went to Ted Motyka Dance to learn some salsa!!!! It was sooo nice and not enough long! Do you know that Jennifer Lopez, Patrick Sweazy and a couple of other famous people have already dance on this great dancing floor? And also, that the actor in movie Shall we dance where dancing in that place?? wow...cool einh? I have taked a little video of our dance....;)

Yeah, I have a big contract right now. I have to draw like 4-5 tattoo because some persons in my gang want to have on in winnipeg...but the thing is, i have to make them rapidly because they want to do it as soon as they can, to make sure they will be able to go in the water when we will go at the beach in two weeks. I have also a friend in Quebec that pleased me in e-mail to draw it for her before 15 of June, which is the day of her tattoo appointment. haha! hum..."J'ai du pain sur la planche! "

So that's it! Tomorrow, I will have the house for me...my parents go to a place outside of the city for a church activity. I will probably invite friends to watch a movie...we will have to take it easy before the big night ;) εïз

Jour 12

Hell-Low !

Today was a typical day...again. No news from the school...it was almost the same thing than yesterday but less boring. This morning, my friends and I decided to be more positive and to enjoy what is great in the program. For sure, it have worked...i have felt more jazzed today.

As my friend Nicolas always says, I always talk about food...so i will keep going :) So! We ate at Pasta La Vista restaurant after school. Contrary as everybody were thinking, we had sandwiches instead pasta which seemed predictable because of the restaurant's name. It wasn't so much great but it helped to full a little part of the hole in our stomach. To fill the other part, I went to the Second Cup coffee with some friends to eat a good brownie and drink a hot chocolate! Mmm yummi! Okay, after saturday, I should moderate a little bit my spending because money melt like butter here!

Faithful to myself, i'm still having my head in the clouds here. First, on yesterday night, i've got lost in bus by tooking the wrong one. And what about today? I have let my handbag home so I have forgot my keys in it. Yeah...haha........hum, i had waited for about 15 minutes outside before my family finally arrived. You can laught....but WITH me....only.

I have called my mom after I had talked a bit with Jodi. Moms have always the goods words to put you up again. So, she was saying to me that she thinks that i have been making progress. I was so happy to heard this...fiou! Claude, the "boyfriend" of my mom, offered me to check how does the trip in train between Winnipeg and Vancouvert cost....if isn't too expensive, he said that they (my mom and him) will pay for me this crazy thing!!!!!!!!!! WOW! I was so amazed! That was such a great suprise for me! For sure, I will take a hole weekend to make this! yay!!!!!

So, I leave you with this....my posts are becoming more and more short...I will try to make my day more busy than now to make them much interesting...what do you think about that? haha I'm just kidding....I am enought tired like that ;) So! Have a great night! I love you all and i'm missing you all too! xx

Jour 11

Hey!

First, I want to congratulate my sister who is trying hard to find a job and follow is old sister's way....to the ice cream bar!!! yeah! I hope you'll get it Chou because it's a really great job....you'll see! Give me some news when you'll have one.

Okay...today was a very boring day at school. I don't know why, but everybody around me...and for instance, myself....were too tired. So, you can think what kind of sleepy day we haved with the universal slow mood of people. The class on the morning, on the other hand, is always great. The teacher is very nice and he knows how to put life in something annoyed.

The first part of our project for my birthday is already set. At noon, I called the Canadian Inn hotel to make a reservation for a room. I was so lucky because at this time, there were only two rooms available. So, for now, we are 10 persons who are going to party in this hotel room on saturday night. After a good "pre-clubbing", we will meet some other persons at the Tijuana Yach Club...it will be great!

I think you guys will understand why i'm not describing you the rest of my p.m. because it was just so ...(okay put a word on your own ;))...it's school...yeah, you know...school? After this wasted time (haha just kidding)...i came back home to eat dinner. And then, at 7, I met my friends at the Silvercity movie theatre (yes again :S) to see What happens in Vegas...That movie was amazing! Awesome! Just that kind of love movie that everybody likes! It was my revenge for the other day. So, buyers...beware of Sex and the city and....red light for the Vegas film!

For now, it's rainy here...and also cold by these days (15-20 degrees). I expect for a better weather before the end of this month!! Please!!

Jour 10

Today, it's Monday....my second monday in this city, which is at the other side of the world, far away of my home. Instead doing some normal stuff like going to work or just keep sleeping on the morning as the normal universitary students do, i have to get up and go to school....yeah school...again.

So, I went to school for my 9 to 12 morning class. We did a quick review of the future perfect and the future simple verb tenses. Yeah, it's a serious english class guys! haha...no, it can be also very fun sometime with all the warm up game we do just to get the blood flowing. You know these kind of games ? Two truth and one lie, yes or no questions...things like that. So don't worry, i don't really suffer in my english class. ;)

At noon, my friend and I talked about my coming soon birthday....Everybody want to do something big! Yay! So, Catherine had the idea that we should probably rent a hotel room because it's very complicated when we have to come back home after going out in a bar. We plan to eat dinner there (with a good (or many good) bottle(s) of wine) and after going to Tijuana Yach Club, which was very nice on the last saturday night....it's on planning for now...so we will see what is going to happen!!

The next two classes were the conversation class and the theatre. In the first one, we did an activity in which we had to build an alibi to be acquitted of a fake crime. Good news! In our theater class, we talked to our teacher and we said that nobody was interested by writing a play. So, he didn't argue with us and he let us search for a short play we wanted to act. We are in this university to learn with fun...and that fact increase it! Who do nothing, have nothing!

After all this, we went to Boccacino's restaurant. Here we ate some Alfredo pasta. It's was very good....and we all hope nobody will get sick after again. We went to Winnipeg International Film Festival in a building close to the university. We saw 6 short films and they were just like too weird...i don't know...maybe it's just another good experience we have to get in our lifes ;)

Ouff! Did I really wrote all this in english? Yeah, i'm pretty sure of it! Woo....I hope it will not be to boring for you guys because of my poor grammar and the little description of what i've done...:S

Jour 9

1er JUIN!
